SHAKE SHACK TO SHOPS AT FARMINGTON VALLEY
We recently reported on social that Shake Shack is coming to the Shops at Farmington Valley in Canton. The popular burger chain is going into the vacant space next to Chipotle. They were originally signed on to go into a potential development on Route 44 in Avon but pulled out several months ago. We are excited to see a Shake Shack location in the Farmington Valley!
DORO CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY
The anticipation! Renovations are now underway at 300 West Main Street in Avon in preparation for DORO Marketplace. This will be the first location of DORO in the Farmington Valley and we could not be more excited. If you've never been, get the avocado toast or one of their bowls...perfection! Target OPEN date is within the first few months of 2026.
PRIME COMMERCIAL PLAZA FOR SALE
If you're looking for a prime investment opportunity, this could be it! The plaza with Connecticut Mattress and Taste by Spellbound....at 220 West Main Street is up FOR SALE! The more than 11,000 square foot building is on the market for $1.725 million. The property has 5 units, a 90% occupancy rate, and was updated in 2020.

THE FUTURE OF CANTON VILLAGE PLAZA
We are hearing there may be some big changes coming to Canton Village! The plaza was recently SOLD and we are hearing there may be a facelift on the way (YES PLEASE!). It's such a cute spot...we think it has a TON of potential. What do you think and what would you like to see go there?

*Hoffman Auto Group has announced that Genesis has replaced the current Hoffman Nissan in West Simsbury. This is the first Genesis dealership in Greater Hartford.
*Char•cu•te•rie is NOW OPEN in West Hartford at Blue Back Square. This new fun spot will take reservations for guests to enjoy their charcuterie at their lounge OR you can choose pickup or local delivery.
*Expansion construction has begun at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center in Simsbury. If you're following us on social (you should be!), we reported back in May that the center would undergo a major renovation/expansion. So exciting!!! Stay tuned for progress reports.
*We're hearing that there is interest in repurposing the old Best Cleaners at 1684 Farmington Ave. in Farmington into a new laundromat that would be open seven days
