HERE’S THE SCOOP…

JEFFERSON FRY IS MAKING A MOVE TO AVON

If you’ve driven past the old Five Guys space at 255 West Main Street (Walmart Plaza) and wondered what’s going in… we’ve got you. Jefferson Fry is relocating from The Shops at Farmington Valley and taking over this space with a late spring opening expected. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more about timing, opening details, and what the new space will look like.

WHAT'S BREWING BEHIND DORO?

Progression Brewing Co. Bar & Kitchen is taking over the former Tri It Tap Room space at 300 West Main Street. If the name sounds familiar, it should…this will be Progression’s second location, with their original brewery based in Northampton, MA. This will be their first Connecticut location. An early spring opening is anticipated. We’ll keep watching this one closely and share updates as they come in.

A NEW CHAPTER AT RIVERDALE FARMS

Lyme Bar & Grill has officially been purchased and is being reimagined as Morgan House Tavern—A classic neighborhood tavern with a local vibe, right in the heart of Riverdale Farms. Think classic American fare with plenty of TVs for sports enthusiasts.

A mid-March grand opening is planned, so we won’t have to wait long to see the transformation come to life.

NEW SCOOP FROM DOM'S

The Town of Avon has officially approved plans for a playground next to Dom’s Creamery — and honestly, what pairs better than ice cream and a playground right in the heart of town? It will be an even better spot for playdates!

DORO MARKETPLACE IS ALMOST READY

Renovations at DORO Marketplace (300 West Main Street, Avon) are moving along and we can’t help but get excited! You’ll notice their signs are up and looking sharp!

The team is targeting a late March / early April opening, and we’re officially counting down the days until we get that first peek inside.
